Emirates Global Motor Electric (EGME) has announced the expansion of its electric commercial vehicle portfolio in the UAE with the introduction of three new electric truck models, strengthening its ability to support fleet electrification across multiple industry sectors.
The expanded lineup includes an electric 8×4 heavy-duty tipper truck, developed for demanding applications such as quarry, crusher, and site operations. Designed to operate efficiently in controlled and repetitive duty cycles, the truck supports continuous operations where regenerative braking and predictable routes enhance performance and energy efficiency.
EGME has also introduced a mid-duty electric 4×2 truck chassis, aimed at municipal services, urban logistics, and food and beverage distribution. This model is well suited for stop-start operations, offering lower operating noise, reduced running costs, and improved efficiency compared to traditional diesel alternatives.
Completing the portfolio expansion is a heavy-duty electric 6×4 tractor head, engineered for container movement and material transport. Featuring a high-capacity battery configuration, the tractor head is designed to support longer duty cycles and high utilization rates, making it suitable for logistics operations transitioning to electric fleets.
Through this expanded electric truck offering, EGME continues to enable fleet operators to transition from diesel to electric mobility while maintaining operational performance, uptime, and reliability. In addition to vehicle supply, EGME provides end-to-end electric mobility solutions, including charging infrastructure, battery solutions, and fleet support services, helping customers scale electric operations with confidence.
